Okay so your friend asks you to recommend a first vibrator — what do you say?
This literally happened to me last week. A friend who has never owned a toy texted me asking what to get and I realized I have strong opinions about this.
But I'm curious what everyone else would say. What's your go-to recommendation for someone who's never used anything before? Price range, type, anything you'd tell them to avoid?

Bullet vibe. Every time. Simple, not intimidating, cheap enough that if she doesn't love it she's not out a ton of money. Tell her to skip the ones with a million settings and just get something basic to start.
Avoid anything that runs on watch batteries. Learned that the hard way.
I’d recommend a simple, body-safe vibrator that’s easy to clean and beginner-friendly. No need to spend too much on the first one!
Start with the smallest and work your way up—get a set of seven for a week of practice, lol!
