OP: Sex for senior citizens

I posted this topic the other day but cannot find my post so here goes (again). I am a 68 yo male and have always considered myself sexual. But as with many men, my libido has waned considerably as I've gotten older. My ability to perform has diminished in recent years to the point I cannot complete the act. Mind you, I still have the desire but due to ED issues, I cannot maintain an erection long enough for penetration. I can get an erection very easily while watching porn and ejaculate with no problem. I have a lady friend who I have been seeing on occasion. She is very sexual (same age as me) and gets very wet with a minimal amount of stimulation. Amazing, huh? When we are together, we do all kinds of things together- oral, masturbation, foreplay, almost anything except actual intercourse. She is aware of my ED issues and says she likes oral better but I'm not totally convinced. She has not had penetration (except my fingers) in many years. Her last marriage was one of mutual convenience and he was 15 years her senior, so they never consummated their marriage. But she revealed her marriage before that she was very sexually active. So do men in my situation use something like a cock ring to try and maintain an erection or do you just do other non-penetration activities? And ladies, especially more seasoned ones, please by all means chime in with your thoughts. TIA

I am 71. My wife closed the door, so to speak some years ago. After a few years of celibacy, I decided enough was enough and I started to explore local escorts, who are legal in my country. I also have ED, but the little blue pill helps. I use the minimum level necessary. Performance is quite satisfactory, although sometimes the happy ending does not happen. I have met some very interesting women, some are downright wierd, and others are beautiful people. What I enjoy the most is the skin contact and intimacy. Anything more is the cherry on the cake. As I have said before, the journey is more important than the destination.
