OP: Her period is late...

ok so the last time me and my gf had sex was about a week ago and her period hasn't came yet. i am positive that i didn't come in her because i didn't even ejaculate. i am worried because her period hasnt came. i was also thinking that maybe it will come later because her periods are irregular. if i remember correctly every month she has had it on a different day 4, 9, 12, and 15. december 15 was her last period and it's now jan. 20. should i be worried about this or could it her period come later?

If she's stressed out, over exercizing, or not eating (Trust me, not a smart thing to do, if that's the case turn it around now before it turns worse) then that is why it could be late. I've heard that having sex can also make it be late sometimes. And so can being pregnant of course.

Go out and get a pregnancy test. I don't remember whether it is before or after your period that you are more likely to get pregnant...maybe someone else can help with that.

As you know, condoms aren't 100 percent effective, and you should be using two kinds of birth control (Trust me on that one too) But no where in your post did I read that you used any kind of birth control. Big mistake if that's true, because there is pre-cum, which contains the same stuff as when you actually do cum, and yes, that can get her pregnant.

Good Luck

Teenaged women, younger, especially, are notoriously erratic with their periods. That means they are also irregular in ovulating. Abare penis near an uncovered vagina is risky whether you ejaculate or not. Just do not do it. You are always oozing sperm.

i admit that i didn't use protection and i just hope she's not pregnant. she does't eat very good either, her mom tells me that she's doesn't eat that much. but now my g/f tells me that she's been getting hungry a lot and is eating more which worries me because most pregnant women eat quite a bit or i've heard (or is it, that women start eating a lot when they have a visible belly?).

The best advice I can offer you is to get a pregnancy test. I have been in your girlfriend's position before, it's really stressful not knowing. And yes, it's better to know than not to know. All you can do is hope she's not pregnant! It's too late to get the morning after pill. I wouldn't worry about the whole hungry thing, it's probably just a coincidence. Make sure she eats normally! Just go get a pregnancy test, while you're at it, birth control.

xx22xx syas get a pregnancy test. They are effective about a week after pregnancy occurs - not before. Get a pregnancy test and do some studying before you take any more unnecessary risks.

1. Her period is irregular
2. If she is stressed and had been concerned about possibly being pregnant her period might be late
3. When I get stressed I eat a lot more than usual
4. Although you did have sex at a time where pregnancy could occur, it was not at the peak time

I wouldn't worry too much yet. Condoms are not perfect but I have enough confidence to say that when used correctly they will do their job. I have never had sex without a condom before and until I am married I do not plan on it. I have never had sex when the condom has broken or slipped off before either. But, I still worry every month that I am pregnant, I don't know why, but I do. That worrying causes my periods to be erratic.

Well, if the last time you had sex was Jan 14th, it should be showing up on a Preg test by now (if she is pregnant). However, home preg tests are not always 100% reliable, especially if not carried out exactly per instructions.

You also mention her periods are erratic anyway. This is not unusual in girls/young women.

The combination of these 2 factors (and the other comments you made in your 1st post indicate she is PROBABLY not pregnant).

In any case, if her periods are this erratic she should probably see her doctor for a checkup; the doc will also be able to put your minds at rest (one way or the other) re whether she is pregnant or not.
