OP: Getting bf to shave his legs?

I recently asked my bf if he would consider shaving his legs. I like the way shaved legs feel (especially against my own). He said he wouldn't because people would think he is a nancy-boy or just weird. I told him that my shaving of my legs doesn't make me a woman. So him shaving his legs also would not "feminize" him. If that were the case, most men already feminize themselves by shaving their beards. Something that IS a characteristic that seperates men from women. We may live in a society that says "all women must shave their legs and underarms", I shave mine because I like the way it looks. On both women and men. I would like to know what you people think. Ladies, do you care either way? Men, if the act were deemded unisex would you do it(at least at your partner's request)?

mnprincess, buy your boyfriend a racing bike and cycling outfit. Then, if comments are made, he can tell people he's training for a triathlon. That would put an end to any "nancy-boy" comments.

I know my wife wouldn't ever ask me to shave my legs, but if she felt it would enhance our sex life, I'd be more than happy to do so.

Great first post! I hope you don't mind an opinion from one of those "nancy boys".lol

You can safely tell your boyfriend that shaving his legs WON'T make him appear gay. The term is "metrosexual": a straight man who cares about his appearance and doesn't mind taking the time to make sure he looks good. You can cite David Beckham, a british soccer player, who is very butch and I believe marrying a supermodel or something.

If having an excuse to shave might make a difference, you could save the expense of the bike, and just have him tell people he is a swimmer. They shave EVERYTHING- arms, legs, chest, etc.

One last thing, as a gay man, I LOVE hairy guys- the more fur the better. There are quite a few of us who feel this way. So while some gay guys may shave, it-by itself-is not enough to identify as one of us(lol).

My god...it's JUST HAIR..it grows back.....and quite frankly, it's alot of fun to have your parnter shave your body....i have done it a few times and it IS a wild feeling..and great foreplay!

Just know it'll be itchy a bit if he dosn't keep it shaved, but the shaving and sex after was HOT HOT HOT!

My partner shaved EVERYTHING (except on the top of my head).....took almost a full hour....but it was quite erotic!

ps: buy a shower curtain, spread it on the bed, then squirt baby oil on each other and on the curtain...the combination of oil, hairless bodies and plastic sheets makes for HOT FUN!..and everyone's pre-lubed!

All i know is that naturally, i'm a very hairy guy. i hate the look of hair though, so after a while, i shaved my chest and stomach. it looks so much better and feels so much better, and the ladies agree. in addition, its supprising how many guys actually do shave. i doubt that all those muscle guys with perfect chests/abs are all naturally hairless.

Although i do shave my chest, i can't bring myself to shave the legs. maybe this summer i'll give it a try. but there's something about it that weirds me out a bit. i do shave my pubes though, and i like it better, and the girls love it. so my advice is that he should do what he feels comfortable with, but whatever he decides to do, there are a whole lot more guys who do the same thing.
