OP: Consistent cramp pains + surgery

So for the past 5-6 months I have been having this "cramp" pain right about where I would have my menstural cramps on my right side. Only thing is that its all the time
I asked my doctor for a gyno appointment but since he was reitiring soon they could not make the appointment (he said you need about 6 months advance at the time because everyone booked one).

Before this week for about 2 weeks I had no pain and this week the pain came back. Its always a dull "kinda there but kinda not there" sort of pain. It really starts to hurt during sex with deep thrusting.

Its hard to explain and i know I have to go see a doctor about it and I am. We are in the process of getting one. I was just wondering if anyone could shed some light on what this could possibley be.

Also when we are having sex, there is a sharp pain in the centre of where my uterus should be. I know the pain is coming from the canal area. I noticed something was up when I used a tampon on a light day. I pulled it out and there was a mixture of greenish and red on a dime sized spot on the part where the upper side of the canal is. Is this just some the tampon did?

im sorry if this is confusing and YES I will be making a gyno appointment, Im in the process of getting a new doctor. I was just wondering if anyone could help me out. If you need clarification just ask.

First you need to rule out an infection based on the symptoms...the discharge you describe sound like a PID. Second differential diagnosis is R/O Ovarian cyst and third differential i& done simultaneously to R/O an AP.

I would go to an ER...

Yeah green from inside the uterus is definitely not normal and if something in there is infected you don't want to mess around. Medical attention the sooner the better.

ESPECIALLY if you're having surgery. The surgeon NEEDS to know precisely what's happening in your body.

Yes, you need to notify the surgeon of this issue, this is essential to your care and his/her performance. Let it be his/her call to look at what is happening based on what the type of surgery this is. Usually, if there is a concern, a work up can be done & you are pushed out a day or so until the results are conclusive.

I would never risk my body by withholding such information from the surgeon--dental surgery or brain surgery. Inform the surgeon exactly of what's happening & let them make a call as how to proceed.
