Lelo Nea Review

The Nea by Lelo is an attractive and sophisticated vibrator that fits right in the palm of your hand. It is by far the most long-lasting pocket rocket style vibrator I have ever used. Compared to the matte surface of its near twin The Lily, The Nea has a glossy black pearl finish and an attractive flower design as decoration.

The Nea has a sleek shape; I found that it provides a comfortable and ergonomic surface to stimulate your clitoral area. The best feature in my eyes is the Nea's power capacity. It takes roughly two hours to charge and by the time Nea is ready to go, you get a seven hour output of stimulation. This brings me to the other thing I really like about this pleasure object: it doesn't take batteries! You charge it up like you'd charge your cell phone.

This all makes for a great vibrator that you'd want to show off to everyone. That's the first thing I did anyway. There's nothing wrong with buying a $20 mini vibrating clit stimulator and I'm a strong believer that everyone should own one. But, to have something like this is like having the Mercedes version. This is definitely the Valentine's or Birthday gift that you should buy because it's totally classy. You know that impressed feeling that you get in a fancy restaurant when you get served up a plate with the most amazing sauces, designs and garnishes? You get that wow with the Nea: the presentation alone wins big points.

It comes in a fancy black package that looks like a Tiffany's box, together with a black satin satchel to store it , a charger, a manual and a one year warranty. The attractive and ultramodern website provides support if you ever have technical difficulties. It has an easy to use locking mechanism so that it doesn't turn on accidentally. One more plus, it keeps its charge for up to 60 days if it hasn't been in use... in my opinion you shouldn't need to let it get to that point!

Overall, Nea's performance was quite good. It was comparatively quiet for the amount of intensity it provided, but I was acutely aware of the high pitched frequency that it emitted. Not a big deal if you're under the sheets, but it was something that my partner's man ears picked up on right away. The range of vibe was good and I could distinguish 5 levels of intensity.

The thing about the strength of vibe is that you'll usually sacrifice the intensity in exchange for the volume the vibrator emits. I think that Lelo did a good job of balancing the two but after reading some other reviews on it, I could see how some people might think the vibrations not be quite strong enough.

One feature that I liked about the design is that it's a great toy for someone who might be intimidated or embarrassed about using toys. The Nea is unassuming and non-threatening, so I think you could set someone on the right path by getting them started with an ergonomic vibrator like this one. As Lelo describes, the Nea is shaped like a natural extension of your hand and fingers.

Try to wear it in your panties and see how much you can get done for your day. Also try it while you're relaxing on your back; let it sit on your pubis with the tip resting on your clitoris and turn it on. The 18K gold version of the Nea (called the Yva) can be warmed or cooled for added sensation. Try it to stimulate other parts of your body, like your nipples or anus.

Always avoid using massage oil or hand cream as a lubricant with your Nea; also avoid using alcohol based cleaners. Just stick to antibacterial soap, some warm water, a good rinse and pat dry with a lint free towel. Because it's made of plastic, you can use either silicone or water-based lubricant.

This vibrator is totally sophisticated as well as stylish and I think that you'll be happy that you spent the extra cash on a quality pleasure object like the Nea. One thing's for sure - you don't ever have to be embarrassed by people accidentally finding it; they'll probably ask you where they can buy one!
