This compact 3 speed personal massager is a spin off from the original peach colored Petite. It is made of a smooth soft ABS plastic and measures 4 inches long and 1.5 inches wide at the base. It is extremely lightweight, even with the batteries in it; this makes it great for travel.

The Petite Pink Ribbon is no exception, its arcs are smooth and round; its design is non-phallic and non-intimidating. The farthest left position turns the device 'off'; by sliding the switch over one, you'll turn the vibe on to the highest setting; one more over steps it down; one more over again adjusts the intensity to the lowest level. Make sure you take out the batteries when you travel because it's foreseeable that this one could accidentally get turned!

Who It's For

The Petite Pink Ribbon would be a great toy for beginners. It'll ease you into the world of sex toy play. It also has a range of vibe that suits women who prefer less intensity but it can be stepped up in strength if you want to go there.

The vibrator comes in Natural Contours' signature packaging; a cardboard box with a clear plastic sleeve that slides off easily. The sleeve has on it pictures of the toy, a bit of general information and product care as well as a picture of a pink ribbon, a symbol of support for the women (and men) who have been diagnosed with breast cancer.

The box includes a set of simple instructions; batteries were included.

There was nothing included to take care of storage, so you'll probably want to pick up a little bag to store the vibe in. The good thing about this toy is that the material won't pick up lint, and the craftsmanship is sturdy enough to withstand a bit of tossing around if you take it traveling.

Audibility

By no means is it the worst I've heard, but it certainly trails way behind the middle of the pack. I may be a little tough when it comes to rating toys in this category; however, I do not exaggerate when I say that this toy is loud. The lower settings are superior in diffusing their sound, but the next increment higher increases the noise exponentially!

Although the slider from the battery compartment had a bit of foam to buffer any possible rattling against the body, it did not help at all in reducing the racket. With the exception of the Ideal, I'm quite surprised at how much louder the Petite Pink Ribbon is over all of the other Natural Contours products.

Pleasure Factor

I really enjoyed my masturbation session with this item. The curve glides so nicealy against the vagina and is really comfortable to dip into the vagina with. You don't feel as strong of a vibration against the clitoris once it's been inserted deeply, but on the positive side, the noise gets significantly reduced once it's been submerged. The straight edge along the bottom of the toy makes for clean lines but I would have liked it to taper off just in order to give me a little something to hold on to while thrusting.

Cleaning

The cleaning options are fairly straightforward for ABS plastic toys; wash them with warm water and hypoallergenic soap, rinse well and allow to air dry. Make sure you avoid getting water into the battery compartment and the slide control – the toy is not waterproof. You can also use an adult toy cleaner in place of soap and a small towel to wipe it down with.

Long Term Appeal

Its traditional shape will keep you interested, but the noise level might be too much if that particularly bothers you.

Value

Buying this or any other Natural Contours product will hardly put a dent in your wallet. It's sturdy, travels well and cleaning it is a snap.
