Okay so your friend asks you to recommend a first vibrator — what do you say?

This literally happened to me last week. A friend who has never owned a toy texted me asking what to get and I realized I have strong opinions about this.

But I'm curious what everyone else would say. What's your go-to recommendation for someone who's never used anything before? Price range, type, anything you'd tell them to avoid?
