Testicular infection?!?
Okay so I just got back from the doctor. He said that I have an infection and inflamation in my vas deferens and seminal vesicle, and inflamation in noe of my testicles....he said I have epididymitis and something that sounded like orchitis. (?)
Now I tried to talk to my doctor. But he didnt say much. The only idea I got is that it can be caused by testicular trauma. (have been hurting myself lately. Wrestling with my girlfriend...knee to the groin....and while rock climbing I fell, and my harness was too loose and sorta hurt alot...)
But of course my mom is trippin out cuz she accuses me of having unprotected sex and an STI....
Oh and one other thing....no discharge, or painful urination...just pain...lots and lots (oh and some lower back pain on the same side as the inflamation....

That is a pretty normal diagnosis where there is trauma involved. That does not imply a STD! Tell her to read.

Hey, just a quick update and question.
My pain has gone down considerably. (although after the doctor played lets pinch the cords my pain is back) But I notice some discomfort if I get incredibly aroused. Not just an everyday hard on, but if I have an erection that lasts longer than say 15 minutes I notice a pain. (Different from blue balls)
Now I asked the doc he said it was normal, but continued to advise against sexual activity(well against ejaculation to be honest). Is it still okay to masturbate though, because I did it once and I noticed the discomfort went away, so Im not sure if this was so I dont spread anything to my eurethra or anything else.

He advised against sexual activity; the restriction is sex both alone or with a partner; otherwise, he would have said it's fine but use a condom . Why? You have an inflammation/infection and increasing blood flow to the region also increases the inflammation. Think of a knee strain which is inflamed. You stay off it; the more use of it the more risk for increased inflammatory responses.
Sexual restrictions are just that. NONE until he gives you the clearance.

Warm baths to increase/stimulate blood flow to tissue not blood flow to gain an erection. Much like when women are tender from injury or sex they can do a stiz bath (to assist with healing) but it's not recommended to go and have sex. I doubt he wants you to ejaculate at this time until all the areas are less inflamed and less sore.
I assume one of the scrotal sacs are inflamed/swollen still? He is looking for external applications to increase blood flow to decrease inflammation. Additionally he should have told you not to stay in the bath an longer then 15-20 minutes every 3-4 hours; otherwise, you REVERSE the effects of the heat & cause damage.

Well...he told me there appeared to be no residual evidence. The Ultrasounds i had to do came out fine and that if there was still pain, to drink plenty of liquids, take warm baths, and avoid sexual contact...but that was if there was pain. (Which there was since he started pinching the cords and everything...they still hurt now)

Manipulation done by him may cause similar effects with having sex with another. If he said only to stop if you experience pain? Try alone first when you are not tender...if all is okay, keep drinking and have some "easy" love making sessions...easy on your body! If you have pain stop ASAP & get in the tub.
