Do lesbians miss penis?

Why are some women gay? Don't they get more satisfaction from men having their vagina filled with the real thing? I guess I understand the loving thing from a women - she know how it feels- call me old fashioned I can't stand gays/lesbians. That dog won't hunt for me.
