Can't ejaculate / diabetic
I am 49yrs old, I am a borderline diabetic { no meds } am on blood p. med. I am forced to use viagra for errection. For the last 6 mth's or so have rarly if at all
been able to ejaculate. Driving me crazy!!! Wife & I aren't very active, once maybe
twice a month {not my choice}
At times I feel very close after alot of thrusting, but then it's just gone. One thing I have noticed is that my boys are usually drawn up very close to my body. Have
seen doctor still waiting for referal. Any advice.....thanks

When your body is getting close to the point of ejaculation or orgasm the scrotal sac pulls up as you described. That's normal in men. Perhaps you are just trying too hard to make it happen? Or it can be due to an underlying medical issue which needs an evaluation by the specialist. Just wait it out until you see the specialist, I assume it's the urologist. For now, just see if it happens on it's own, be certain prior to beginning intercourse you are already in a high state of arousal nearing the feeling of climaxing. Relax and try to let it happen.

Diabetes and high blood pressure can affect sexual performance; furthermore, BP meds also have an influence. You need to see the urologist to rule out an enlarged prostate as well as other factors which decrease sexual function. The purpose of the scrotal sac pulling into your peritoneum is; it's your body's way of warming them (the boys), thus preparing for ejaculation.
One another note; getting your health under control can greatly & positively influence both diseases (and reducing the risk for future additional illnesses), proper diet, weight management, and exercise are essential. Many times meds can be decreased when physically fit and the risk of peripheral vascular disease and cardiac disease (and myocardial infarction's) are greatly diminished. Exercise helps increase blood flow, in turn causing better oxygenation to all parts of your body and improve cardiac functions. I don't mean to harp on such matters but you are young and still have the opportunity to turn your health around. Good luck! :)

I know certain medical conditions can affect sexual performance, but I really don't understand how a man can go 6 months without ejaculating. Out of curiosity, I've tried abstaining from ejaculation for long periods of time to see what the effect would be. I was climbing the walls! Had so much sexual tension that I was on a hair trigger - could practically ejaculate by just thinking about sex! (The longest I lasted was about 8 weeks.)
