In the Fire Hydrant variation of Doggy Style, the woman alternates lifting one of her legs out sideways. Offering much greater variety in the tilt of her pelvis, there's a lot of territory to explore to see what feels best. However, it may be a little tricker for women to hold, as being tilted is not conducive to staying balanced. Pillows under the knees are recommended to increase comfort, as is switching legs whenever one starts getting tired.
