This toy by Natural Contours is another good example of a tasteful and elegant multi-speed vibrator. It was created with style as well as good ergonomics in mind; the product's purpose is to comfortably fit the unique curves of a woman's body. The Magnifique is the largest personal massager that Natural Contours carries in its line of products for women. It is 7 ½ inches long, with an insertable length of approximately 4 ½ inches, and is ivory in color. The toy is incredibly lightweight, weighing in at under a ½ pound. The shaft is fairly sizeable but, it can be used as an insertable (rigid) toy. It is flat on the topside and gently arced on the other, with a contoured tip.

Construction is of ABS plastic that feels smooth against the skin and is easy to clean. A power switch is located on the topside of the toy and the battery compartment can be accessed from the back of the base. It fits comfortably in the hand and is easy to operate. The item is not waterproof.

How It Works

The operation is very simple; remove the slider to the battery compartment and insert two AA batteries as marked, then replace the lid. The toy is turned on by pushing the slider controller to one of three continuous vibrations.

The outer sleeve is tasteful, simple and includes a small write up of the basic features of the product. Instructions are enclosed and provide detailed information about usage and product care. Batteries are also included.

There was no storage bag included with the purchase, but the box serves well for temporary keeping. A clean, lint free sock can also do. The advantage of the Magnifique's rigid covering is that it isn't sticky, so it can easily be stored without any worry about it ripping or picking up dirt and lint. Just make sure that you store the batteries outside of the compartment as it can get turned on with a click of the switch.

Audibility

This manufacturer consistently produces exceptionally quiet vibrating massagers. The Magnifique is no exception; all of its speeds produce but a gentle hum. It definitely can't be heard from another room. It's one those toys that can be used solo or with a partner, without it being exceedingly obvious that there's a whirring motor in the room.

This toy is waterproof so you do have to clean it carefully. The body can be washed with a cloth soaked in warm water and your choice of a mild soap bar or a liquid anti bacterial variety. Some other cleaning alternatives are anti bacterial wipes or an adult toy spray. The vibrator can be wiped dry with a clean towel or left out to completely air dry.

Long Term Appeal

The Magnifique will have long term appeal because it's extremely quiet and easy to clean. It is well worth trying, particularly for sex toy novices. Toy users with advanced experience may want to pass this one up in favour of a more multi functional shape.

This toy scores well in the value department because of its reasonable cost, ergonomic design and sophisticated packaging. The only drawback is that the large straight shape limits the number of ways to use it. All in all, it sports a soothing range of vibrations that make it worth the price.
